IO Solutions Call Center Inc. is a company specialized in the field of telecommunications, specifically a call center. We are looking for a Network Administrator to maintain a reliable, secure and efficient data communications network. The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment in order to ensure smooth network operation. The Network Administrator will be fully supporting, configuring, maintaining and upgrading the in-house servers. Also, he or she will be installing and, integrating new server hardware and applications as well as keeping an eye out for needed updates.   • Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade in-house servers
  • Install and integrate new server hardware and applications
  • Manage and maintain the call center IP telephony system
  • Keep an eye out for needed updates
  • Support and administer third-party applications
  • Ensure network security and connectivity
  • Monitor network performance and test for weaknesses
  • Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords
  • Resolve problems reported by end user
  • Define network policies and procedures
  • Specify system requirements and design solutions
  • Research and make recommendations on server system administration
  • Ensures that security architecture for all platforms supported is in compliance with the corporate guidelines/standards


  • A degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or a complementary area such as Business Administration, with corresponding IT certifications
  • Proven experience (at least 5 years of experience) in a network administrator’s role
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
  • Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
  • Ability to set up and configure server hardware
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
  • Juniper, Cisco, CWNA or BCNE training
  • VWware Certified Professional (VCP3, VCP4, VCP5)
  • Interactive Intelligence – Core Administrator
  • Interactive Intelligence VolP Certification 2.4.1
  • CCNA&CCDA Design (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
  • CCENT Design (Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician)
  • MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer)
  • 3Com University – VolP NBX Certified
  • NBX Certification on 4000 Platform
  • Analytical ability and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be self-directed and able to work with minimum supervision
  • Great at organising, prioritising and multitasking
  • Be able to communicate in both English and French is considered a great asset
