Job description

IO Solutions is looking for a Recruiter for its Fredericton location. Under the supervision of the HR Director, the Recruiter’s mission is to help the Human Resources department select the right candidate profile for various positions to be filled in the center. A successful Recruiter will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis. You should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.


  • Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; advising managers; and managing relocations and intern program.
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport.
  • Manages intern program by conducting orientations
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, etc.
  • Provides appropriate, relevant and timely feedback to applicants
  • Maintain employee data up to date
  • Conduct Orientation of Employees
  • Conduct candidate reference checks
  • Perform other related human resources tasks


  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of the Office suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Professional and punctual
  • Dynamic and responsible
  • Sense of organization and discretion
  • Ability to work both in a team and individually
  • Diploma in HR or related field is a plus
