System Administrator – On Site

Job description

IO Solutions is looking for a Systems Administrator to join our dynamic contact center environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our infrastructure. Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust systems/servers, the successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement security measures. Responsibilities

  • Configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting servers, networks and IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime
  • Monitoring system performance, analyzing logs and identifying potential issues to prevent downtime and security risks
  • Managing user accounts, permissions and access controls to ensure data security and comply with company policies
  • Installing and updating software, patches and security updates to keep systems secure and operating efficiently
  • Performing regular data backups and implementing disaster recovery plans, preventing data loss and ensuring business continuity
  • Responding to technical issues, supporting end users, and resolving hardware and software problems efficiently
  • Documenting system configurations, processes and troubleshooting steps for future reference and team collaboration
  • Collaborating with IT teams and vendors to implement new technologies, optimize infrastructure and improve overall system reliability
  • Key participant in IT audits
  • Managing inventory of all equipment, hardware, spare parts, and IT software licensing and distribution for VMware, Microsoft, EDR and Antivirus, etc.
  • Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery, backup procedures, and information security policy.
  • Configuring and maintaining Active Directory Structures, GPOs, user permissions, identity management, network file, and print services. Providing Tier II/III IT support for daily operational tasks.
  • Schedules, coordinates, and deploys server updates and preventative maintenance with limited downtime Planned and deployed redundancy into existing systems to eliminate downtime due to server failure.
  • Conducting Vulnerability and penetration testing for Corporate IT Vulnerability Assessments and remediating them on a priority basis for PCI DSS or any other compliance Managing and Supporting Security System for Physical Access Control and Video Surveillance.

Qualifications

  • Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Operating Systems: Deep knowledge of Windows Server & Linux (installation, config, admin).
  • Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, VPNs, Routing. (Fortinet preferred)
  • Cloud Computing: Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Security: Understanding of cybersecurity, backup/recovery, and access management.
  • Hardware & Virtualization: Server hardware, storage, VMware, Hyper-V.
  • Scripting/Automation: PowerShell, Python for automating tasks.
