The Network Admin plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our communication infrastructure. Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust networks, the successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement security measures. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assisting in research on network products, services, and standards in network procurement and development efforts for data centers.
  • Collaborating with IT team and external support to build project plans to deliver corporate objectives.
  • Providing KPI reports, Project updates, and Team performance reviews to senior management.
  • Acting as Point of Escalation for the IT Team and responsible for the timely resolution of unresolved issues adhering to the organization’s incident management process.
  • Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the full network infrastructure (Firewalls, Switches, Wi-Fi, Cybersecurity, both tools and hardware) and assist system administrators as required (VMWare, Windows/Linux Servers, and technology tools).
  • Supporting and maintaining Data Center and Cloud IP Network Infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WLAN/VPN/IPsec) and securing the network access by segmenting the network into VLANs and ACLs (Access Control Lists).
  • Conducting Vulnerability and penetration testing for Corporate IT Vulnerability Assessments and remediating them on a priority basis for PCI DSS or any other compliance Managing and Supporting Security System for Physical Access Control and Video Surveillance.
  • Managing Active Directory Structures, GPO, user permissions, identity management, network file, and print services.
  • Providing Tier II/III IT support for daily operational tasks.
  • Incident and Change Management.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with external advisors and vendors.
  • Managing inventory of all equipment, hardware, spare parts, and IT software licensing and distribution for VMware, Microsoft CALs, Kaspersky Antivirus, VoIP, and HPE.
  • Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery, backup procedures, and information security policy.
  • Schedules, coordinates, and deploys server updates and preventative maintenance with limited downtime Planned and deployed redundancy into existing systems to eliminate downtime due to server failure.

Qualifications

  • Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Network Administrator, including hands-on experience with network devices, Fortinet (Preferred) and Cisco technologies.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal performance.
  • Proficient in implementing and maintaining network security measures to safeguard against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
  • Hands-on experience in configuring and managing routers, switches, and other network devices.
  • Knowledge of wireless networking technologies and the ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot wireless networks.
  • Ability to create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Capacity to adapt to evolving technologies and industry best practices to ensure the network infrastructure remains cutting-edge and efficient.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and resolve complex network and security issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Fortinet NSE, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar credentials are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking concepts is a plus.
